Maurice has over 35 years experience in domestic and international banking. He spent 25 years in corporate banking leaving this sector in 1999 when General Manager - Banking, Smurfit Paribas Bank Limited.

He later served for 9 years as Managing Director of an IFSC based subsidiary financial services company owned by an African Banking Group. The Irish company provides correspondent banking, trade finance and corporate treasury services to the parent group.

From 2000 until 2005, Maurice served as a non executive director of LeggMason Investors Fixed Income Plc, a closed end investment company listed on the Irish Stock Exchange until it was withdrawn and wound up in 2005.

In 2005, Maurice was appointed a non executive director of Itinerant Resources Plc, a UK registered public unlisted company engaged in mineral exploration in Zimbabwe. Subsequently Maurice assumed the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer of Itinerant Resources Plc which has 270 shareholders.

His expertise in corporate banking covers a wide range of enterprise financing and tax based asset transactions in Ireland and abroad. He has strong multi cultural business experience in general management.

Maurice is a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He graduated from University College Cork in 1983 and completed his MBA dissertation on Venture Capital in Ireland 1967 - 1983.

Tim has worked independently in the field of consultancy and consult-training since 2004. His current focus is on cost management and recovery in the economic downturn. Tim co-authored a book on "Strategic Cost Reduction: Cutting Costs without Killing the Business" published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland in 2009 and adapted by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2011. A second edition of Strategic Cost Reduction was published in 2012 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Tim contributes articles on current issues both in the trade and national press and also broadcasts occasionally. Business books authored or co-authored by Tim are described in Publications.

Prior to 2004 Tim worked for the Irish Management Institute in Dublin for 14 years. During this period he ran courses mainly on finance both in Ireland and abroad. He also designed and ran courses for individual companies, mostly for senior teams in manufacturing, financial services and software industries.

Before joining the IMI Tim spent 17 years with the merchant banking subsidiary of National Irish Bank, where his main responsibilities were corporate finance advice, stock market listings, corporate credit underwriting and management, internal audit and corporate governance.

Tim obtained an MBA from INSEAD in France, qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell (now KPMG) in London and graduated with a primary degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.

From 1995 to 2010 Tim served as a non-executive director, Real Return Global Fund, an IFSC Hedge Fund which merged in 2010.
